Purchase
  • There are 4 ways to make a purchase
    1. IN STOCK(Green Shopping Cart) Product(s) can be shipped immediately

    2. PRE-ORDER (Blue Shopping Cart) Advanced order of products which are sure to become available later (will be shipped as soon as they become available)

    3. NON-GUARANTEED PRE-ORDER(Red Shopping Cart) Tentative Reservation of products which are not sure to become available

    4. FORUM REQUEST tell us which issue of the magazine you want to get! make a request on our FORUM page

  • PAY PER ORDER
    (In-Stock, Pre-Order, more than one magazine, doesn't matter. If you make a purchase at one time, it's considered 1 ORDER.
    Note: only Non-Garanteed Pre-Order is considered 1 order per issue)

  • You can make up to 10 orders in 1 day. (0:00-23:59)

  • Check your order status here Your Account.

Pre-Order
  • Make an order at BULK PURCHASE page. (you can pre-order one issue or many issues. it's all up to you!)

  • If the issue has more than 2 types of covers, please understand that you can't choose which cover you are going to receive.

  • Other than BULK PURCHASE, we have some titles available for One or more year Subscription.

Non-Guaranteed Pre-Order
  • NON-GUARANTEED PRE-ORDER means "Tentative Reservation of products which are not sure to become available".

  • When you make a non-guaranteed pre-order, it is not necessary to complete the final confirmation. When the product(s) arrives we will inform you by email and at that point please finalize the order.
    ( When you make a final confirmation you can either choose “YES” to purchase or “NO” not to purchase. )
    You must login to complete the final confirmation here at Your Account

  • You must complete the final confirmation within 48 hours within of receiving the email that your product is available.
    If you don’t complete the final confirmation within 48 hours the order will automatically be cancelled.
    (Even if you decide not to make the purchase please complete the final confirmation by selecting “NO” not to purchase. If you repeatedly do not complete the final confirmation your ability to make non-guaranteed pre-orders could be suspended.)

  • If we are unable to get the product(s) we will inform you by mail that the order has been cancelled.

  • With non-guaranteed pre-orders you can only order the same product one time per person. You cannot order the same product more than once.

  • You can see the list of products available for non-garanteed pre-orders at the bottom of the home page

Forum Request
  • We cannot typically fulfill individual requests for a single product. However, if we have the same request from many customers we might consider temporarily carrying that product so please use the Forum page.

  • Please post your request with the name and number of the magazine you are interested in to our FORUM page.
    (We cannot promise that we will be able to fulfill every request . Please use the forum with consideration.)

About the Forum
  • When you make a request on the forum please include the name of the magazine and the # of the magazine.
    ***Please make all requests in English***

  • Please only make requests for magazines that are brand new or are not yet published. We cannot fulfill any requests for back orders.

  • About the “Accepting Votes.” Those who agree please participate in the vote.
    Just click on the “Vote” button to cast your vote.

  • You can see the results of the vote at the “Voting Page.”
    If an item receives many votes we will strongly consider carrying that product.

  • After a considerable time has passed we will close the vote.

  • Please be careful not to make a post of something that has already been posted by someone else.
    Please cooperate so as many people as possible will be able to post requests.

  • We have a policy here at “Magazine Mart” to let our customers freely communicate without restrictions, however, please understand that we will remove any postings that have no relevance to the forum. ( Slanderous, clearly offensive comments, advertisements or spam will be immediately removed from the forum. )

About the Publish Date
  • Each magazine is displayed by year published + month published. (In the rare event that a magazine doesn't have a published month it will be published with consecutive numbers).
     Ex) 99AUG = August 1999, 00JUL = July 2007, 04JAN = January 2004


About Shipping
  • Products can be shipped to Korea and other Asian countries (except Japan), EU, USA and Canada.

  • For normal orders we use Yamato International Shipping service and packages typically arrive within 4-9 days. (The time can vary based on the location and season)

  • When the magazine is in stock you can decide the shipping date. (Exclude Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. It is not possible to choose the arrival date.)
    Please choose a shipping date within one month of making the order. If you choose a Saturday, Sunday or holiday it will automatically be shipped out on the following business day.

  • When the magazine is in stock you can have it shipped the day you order if the order is placed before 12:00. (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excluded)

  • For reserved orders (including non-guaranteed pre-orders) the shipping date depends on when we can get the product.(Within one month of making a reservation you can decide the shipping date at the Your Account page as soon as we receive the product at our company.)

  • Currently we do not provide a service for holding products. However, there are times where it is possible. (The procedures are as follows) 
    1. Set your desired shipping date to 1 month/30 days later (maximum).

    2. As soon as you receive the notification mail that we have received the product, go to Your Account page and set all the shipping dates to the following business day.

    3. On the following business day all the merchandise will be enclosed and saved shipping cost will be used on your next order.
      You can check your savings at the Your Account page.

  • Every time a product is shipped we will use the address on your member's profile.
    If you would like to change the shipping address for a particular purchase, that is possible by going to MEMBERS ONLY page and changing the shipping address. At 12:00 on the day of shipping we will use the shipping address that is registered on your profile. Please keep this in mind when you make an order.
    You can change the shipping address by logging into the Your Account page.


About The Cost of Shipping/Packing
  • Set Price of ¥ 1000(Duty free) per package.

  • ¥1000 (Duty Free) for each magazine on reserved orders including non-guaranteed pre-orders.

  • Saved shipping cost will be used on your next order. However, you can't use the money for non-guaranteed pre-orders because we are not able to guarantee that we will be able to get the product.
    You can check your balance at Your Account page.


About Payment
  • We ask that you make one payment per order.
        
  • Credit card payment by PAYPAL is the only payment method available.

    After clicking the "Place your order" button, you will be redirected to Paypal website.

    If you are new to PAYPAL, select your country and enter your credit card information, your name, your address etc.

    Then please click the [REVIEW ORDER AND COUTINUE] button and finish the procedure.

    If you are already a PAYPAL user, please log in and follow the procedures.

    If you don't have a Paypal account, please click "Don't have a Paypal account?" link and continue the procedure.


About Prices
  • In addition to the cost of the magazine the weight also has an effect on the price. Based on the weight of the product the cost of shipping can fluctuate a lot.

  • Please understand that the prices from each supplier vary, so it is possible that if we restock the same item from a different supplier the price could be higher.

  • Once you make an order (reservation) for a product the price will not change.

  • Please understand that if the actual weight of the package greatly exceeds the original estimate the price could be higher after the product arrives at our company. (However, If you've already reserved an order the price will not change.)

  • We do our best to provide you with the lowest price.


About Consumption Tax
  • You are never charged.


About Membership
The following is an explanation about our Regular Membership Service and not our Mail Magazine Membership Service.
  • It is FREE to register.

  • Please register with your full name.

  • You can read about the registration from and membership privileges here.

  • When you purchase a product from our company you automatically become a member. You will only be registered as a Mail Magazine member and not a regular member.

  • If you would like to cancel your membership, please write your name and reason why and go to our Customer Service Department or send us an email or fax. We will promptly delete your information from our database.

About Cancellations & Returns
  • For cancellations and exchanges, please contact us at thanks@mag-mart.jp first.

  • For returns and exchanges, after contacting us you may send back the magazines to us within 8 days upon arrival.
    If you live within Korea, below is the return address. Otherwise, please contact us. We will promptly provide you the EU or the US address.

  • In the case that you receive a damaged product, we will reimburse you with the Magazine Mart points.

  • In the case that your order was lost or stolen in the delivering process, please contact us immediately.

  • We are not responsible for items which your delivery signature is already confirmed.


About Magazine Supplements
  • In the rare event that the supplement to the magazine gets damaged we are unable to resend a replacement.

  • If you received a broken supplement we will give you 100 points. (worth 100yen)


About Reviews
  • A review is the impressions about the contents of a magazine from someone who has read the magazine.
    At the bottom of the page of each product there is a contribution form. If you write in this form your comments will be posted on that page.
    This is intended to be an effective exchange of true opinions between customers. Feel free to state your true opinion. One word entries are perfectly acceptable.
    (The comments do not have to be positive)

  • If a customer posts a comment about a magazine that they have already purchased from us after logging in they will automatically receive a 30 point (30 yen) bonus.
    Details can be found on the next section called "About Points."

  • Anyone can contribute their comments, however, if you have not already purchased that particular magazine from our company you will not receive any points.

  • Please understand that you cannot post comments about products that are not displayed.

  • We have a policy here at “Magazine Mart” to let our customers freely communicate without restrictions, however, please understand that we will remove any postings that have no relevance to the product. (Slanderous, clearly offensive comments, advertisements or spam will be immediately removed from the page.)


About Points
  • Points are used as currency for our website. 1 point is worth 1 yen.

  • You can get points by posting a review(Comments about the contents of a magazine). You can find details in the section above called "About Reviews."

  • Accumulated points will automatically be used on your next purchase.
    ((For example, if you have one point accumulated 1 yen will be deducted from your purchase.)

  • You can see your accumulated points atYour Account page at any time.

  • Please understand that we cannot exchange points for cash.


About Our Security System
  • At our company we use Global Communication Encryption by SSL Service.

  • When viewing the website from a cellular phone, the information is encrypted but SSL cannot completely correspond to the root certificate so error messages will appear.
    When possible please use a personal computer.
