Re-edition in bordeaux on cream base of the famous Travaux de la Manufacture motif, one of the most well-known Jouy prints.
Designed by Jean-Baptiste Huet, this motif shows the many different episodes of fabric printing in the Oberkampf Manufactory in Jouy.
This is the fabric that inspired Frédérique Crestin-Billet to create the large Jouy project in our Museums and Heritage Collection.
You will recognise the wood block printing, the colour fixing, or “garançage”, the painting ladies etc…
